French Pharmacy shopping list // What to buy!

So you're heading to France soon? You've heard about the wonderful offerings of French Pharmacy, and you're curious. Theres a huge variety, and you want to spend your euros wisely. I did the same back in February, and ended up stood in various pharmacies ready to try anything, not knowing what most things were. You can still pick most of these items up in the UK, but be prepared to pay a bit of a premium on most of them. Escentual do have 1/3 off French Skincare more often than not, so you're saving a pretty penny there if you fancy giving them a go. Here are my top French picks!

Bioderma Crealine/Sensiblo 250ml £7 // Ah, the infamous Bioderma. The make up remover talked about by many, but ridiculously overpriced in the UK. I got two in a French pharmacy for less than the price of one half the size over here.

Nuxe Lait Demaquillant Confort £9 // Whilst I wouldn't call this a make up remover, its a smooth cleansing milk that I prefer to use first thing in the morning removed with toner, with its refreshing rose scent and gentle texture. I find that it helps eliminate dry areas, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and ready for makeup. I've reviewed this in full here.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc £14 // Heres something that I couldn't find in Paris, but its definitely worth keeping an eye out for. A zinc sulphate solution, that I prefer to spray directly onto my face pre-serum and whenever I feel like a quick refresher. This soothing stuff is a saviour post face-wax, and even Dan has started stealing it, too.

Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat SPF 30 £9.13 // The only UVA and UVB SPF that hasn't left my face sticky, shiny, or a pasty shade of white. It feels similar to a light moisturiser, and after trying so many other 'dud' SPFs, I'm glad to find one that doesn't render any later applied makeup useless.

Avene Triacneal £23 // Previously raved about here, Triacneal has to be one of the best spot and scar creams on the market. Its not the best smell in the world, and it has been known to bleach a few of my pillows with continued use, but its absolutely worth it, (as is the soapless cleanser from this range).

La Roche-Posay Rosaliac CC Creme* £13 // Hands down, the best 'less than foundation' coverage. BB, CC, whatever, but this is incredible. Its silky smooth to apply, sits and lasts well, and the coverage is the best  I've found as far as BB/CC's go. It covers redness and dulls down blemishes, but brightens the complexion and allows skin to look completely natural. I do intend to do a separate 'before and after' review on this one soon!

Nuxe Reve de Neil Moisturising Lips Stick  £5.50 // Everyone raves about the Reve de Miel lip balm, but I prefer the light and smooth texture of this, along with not having to touch my lips at work. I bought a handful of this stuff back home, alongside with Caudalies offering, and somehow I only unpacked two. Sad times.

Rene Furterer Karite Shampoo* £7.50 // If you've got thin, damaged hair like me, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've never found anything to transform my tresses into the thick healthy mane I'd like, but this treatment shampoo is helping, somewhat. It smells nice, and leaves my hair considerably softer than when I walked into the shower. Definitely something I'll repurchase.

Do you have any of these?
