Beating the frizz // Best of Tigi Hair

S Factor Health Factor Shampoo £14
Recently I've become more aware of sulphates in my shampoo, and have been paranoid that they may have been adding to my hair loss problem, so I've made an effort to reduce them drastically. Saying that, considering that this shampoo is made without the ingredient most used for lathering, this shampoo, it really makes for a good soapy rub, and I've no idea how! In the short term this leaves my hair clean and sleek, but I'm really hoping that in the long run my hair will be super thankful for the goodness.

S Factor Serious Conditioner
I've previously reviewed this here. This is my second bottle, and something I can see myself repurchasing forever. Its a thick formula, easy to spread across my hair, and leaves it feeling absolutely incredible. Saying that, my hair still appears dry when I don't use this, so I'd say it doesn't have a long term moisturising effect, but I'm happy to use it every week forever, until I find something better (I doubt I will)!

S Factor Smoothing Lusterizer £16*
This thick-cream product has tiny light reflecting particles, and looks shimmery at first. This disperses when applied through the lengths of my hair though, and leaves it looking shiny and healthy without leaving it greasy. I've been using this recently on towel dried hair though, and love it for that too!

Bed Head After Party £15
This is a product a little lighter than the lusterizer, and one like I I like to use on the ends of dry hair, to tame frizz and smooth my split ends down a little. This has got to be one of the best smelling hair products of all time, and the sickly sweet scent actually lingers for ages too - Its like hair deodorant or something! They do both contain silicones (damn) but sometimes, theres just nothing better.

Bed Head Glaze Haze £11*
Heres something packed with a punch - It looks small, but a tiny amount goes a ridiculously long way, and too much of this serum leaves my hair looking greasy. Used hesitantly though, a tiny amount of this serum applied to towel dried hair leaves it looking smooth and managable! I do prefer oils, but this is travel friendly and is awesome mixed with other texturising products (and it smells awesome).

Have you tried any of these?

  2. I've never tried any Tigi products, I love the sound of the shampoo though!
Naked do a really lovely hair serum without silicon which makes my hair so soft and shiny, I love it :)

  3. I haven't used any of these products before, but I've always admired Bed Head for years... maybe because of the cool packaging! Great post!
