What I Wore // French Connection Medina Maxi

Medina Stripe Maxi Dress - French Connection*
Wedges - Next
Nails - Mavala Jaipur, Bali & Cuzco*

Ah, the maxi dress of my dreams. Stripes, colour blocking, and mega comfortable. I wore this with a cropped denim jacket, though none of those pictures turned out (really, I pull the weirdest faces), so  instead I'm showing you this gorgeous dress in its lone glory. I didn't wear any accessories with this, i'd say its bold enough to go it alone, but I might throw on a gold necklace or bangles if I was wearing it in the evening!

Its not really like your standard jersey maxi as theres a concealed zip closure at the back. The thing that surprised me most about this dress though, was the length. I'm 5'10" and had to take this dress up an inch or two. I'm wearing heels in these pictures and its still pretty long. It makes a nice change to find a maxi dress of this length, but seriously, wow! I'll probably wear this with a waist belt in future just to bring it up a little.

What do you think?
Would you wear this?

  1. Beautiful dress! I'd get my own but it looks like its almost sold out :(

  2. Sarah you look gorgeous in this! So elegant!

  3. You look amazing, that dress is incredible! I think I'd best not buy it, I'm 5"1 and could make a whole other dress with the foot I'd have to chop off!

  7. That is very unique maxi dress-its gorgeous and perfect for summer. Good idea not putting too much accessories with it and just letting it do the talking so to speak.

  8. This dress looks gorgeous on you, it would definitely be too long on me if its long for you I'm only 5"3 lol
