Illamasqua Illuminator - Odyssey £9.45
If you've ever felt frustrated that your highlighters don't give you enough gleam, then I'm pretty sure your search can end here. Recently, I discovered Illamasqua's 'Odyssey' Illuminator, and its definitely a keeper.
As you can see, the highlighter is in liquid form, and has a tiny brush applicator - Similar to Benefit's High Beam, perhaps. In contrast though, its a pure, shimmery white that has a lot of shine to give.
The colour payoff is phenomenal, as I've come to expect of Illamasqua, but it really does dry quickly. It took a while for me to get used to this, and it really needs blending the moment it is applied to the skin to avoid resembling a rushed clown.
Here, I've applied a few dots to my cheekbones, brow bone, and cupids bow. I'll let the pictures do the talking from here onwards!
Whats your favourite Illamasqua product? I'm keen to discover more - I'm slowly falling head over heels in love with this brand and I need your suggestions! Have you tried this product?

I've been using High Beam ever since my fave illuminator discontinued. It was a lovely dewy one from Lancome. I find the high beam too sticky but have always just stuck with it as I have never known a good alternative. But now i do!!! Will have to stick this one on to my wish list! Thank you for the other recommendations you left me in the comments. - ps. the kurt geiger shoes hurt a lot the first few times i wore them and I spent £25 on several insoles and gel pads. I still get cuts and blisters but all of my shoes gives me cuts and blisters.... stupid feet :-( :-( :-(
ReplyDeleteFab photos! I can never take a decent photo to show highlights, can never capture the light properly!
ReplyDeleteLove that highlighter too, ur skin looks gorgeous! x
Wow, that looks stunning on you. Definitely going to try this as I love High Beam by Benefit and can't seem to find another great liquid highlighter.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing beautiful.
