I love it! // BCBG Max Azria Perfume

Every so often I seem to form something along the lines of an addiction to perfumes, and crave a variety of scents to choose from in the morning. The fact that I love a variety of gorgeous perfume bottles on my dressing table may also have something to do with the obsessive perfume buying, but lets not focus on that.

I noticed this romantic bottle in Debenhams and spritzed myself. I fell in love instantly, but didn't buy it there and then. I regretted this a few days later, because when I went back to get it, it was no longer on display at my local Debenhams, and it still isn't now. My boyfriend bought it online for me as a birthday gift back in April, and it just doesn't get the love it deserves. I've not heard anyone mention this perfume, I've not seen it promoted and its not even out in the beauty halls as far as I can tell? Its online so..?

The perfume is said to open with a mix of kir royal, wild strawberry and black cherry introduces the scent, with a note of jasmine, lily, rose and violet, giving a subtle floral scent. The drydown entices with the luxurious and rare orris, accented by musk and sandalwood.

I've never really understood perfume talk, as in, 'notes' and 'drydown,'  (maybe someone can enlighten me)?
But in simple terms, its fruity, floral musky and tropical. This perfume is most definitely up there on my 'favourites' list (though nothing will ever overtake Gucci I'm sure), and it reminds me vaguely of the Ralph Lauren 'Ralph' perfume that I used to buy with my pocket money, but with a much deeper and more sophisticated ability. Every single time I've worn this perfume, I've had a compliment. Every time, without fail.

Has anybody else tried this perfume?
Whats your favourite perfume?
