(Curled with Enrapture setting 1-2-1 and pinned to the side).
By now you've probably heard loads about the Enrapture Totem styler so I'm going to cut to the chase.
The totem styler is different from other curling tongs in that, its split into three sections, each independently heated and controlled however you prefer. This allows greater control over your curl, for example, setting 1-2-1 will be hottest in the middle section and cooler either side, creating a curl thats more of a loose wave towards the scalp and tip, with the majority of curl coming from the mid length of your hair.

Curling hair is something I've never been able to get the knack of despite various tools and YouTube tutorials. My misbehaving hair probably doesn't help matters, but even the promising Babyliss conical wand left me dazed, and instead I've usually got by with the simple waves and curls... Or just worn my hair straight.
I never would've paid the RRP of £75 considering the chances are that I'd never use it due to being pure crap at using it. Thanks to the heads up from Leanne, I managed to grab this at £30 on eBay. This is hands down the easiest curling tool I've used since my first Carmen Girls curler! (all those years ago, anyone remember these)? It did take me a few attempts to perfect the method (I use the flipper thing), but it didn't take long to get there and I'm thrilled with the curls created.
I'm still not sure I'd pay the RRP for this - My straighteners cost about the same and I cant see anything getting the same amount of use as them, but this will definitely be a commonly used product - I love it!
What do you think of this look? Are these something you'll be trying soon?
Also, its my birthday today, woohoo!

Deleteargh so gutted i missed out on that offer! i'd never pay £75 for a hair tool but this really does make your hair look amazing. i'll forever be hunting it down on ebay now. hope you've had a lovely birthday! xx
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty expensive, but then hair straighteners are over £100! x
DeleteYour hair looks awesome, and I think you got an absolute steal when comparing the price you paid to the RRP. I've never gotten the hang of curling either, but would love to try, I just can't justify that kind of money either as I don't style my hair very much (I blow dry it 2/3 times a week, straighten it maybe once a week....)
ReplyDeleteI got so lucky! I'm a bit gammy handed and clumsy so these are a godsend for being 'easy' to use! Your hair always looks cute x
DeleteYour hair looks amazing! I usually just let my hair do whatever it wants because, really, there is no taming it.
