I am a big fan of Lancome, and it is probably my favourite make up brand for various reasons. Despite this fact, I have never been impressed with their mascaras. As an example, I found Hypnose, although volumising, rather thick and clumpy, and most others followed suit too. My opinion changed however, after trying this one. I wouldn't have looked twice if I hadn't traded an old mascara in for a sample sized version a few months back at Boots!
The packaging, for starters, is beautiful, and this is something I am very much a complete sucker for.
Anyway, the conical shape of the wand makes this mascara much easier to apply to corners and the lower lashes, without making a mess. Whilst DiorShow Blackout will undoubtedly forever remain my all time favourite mascara, admittedly, I only use it occasionally now - Opting for this Lancome mascara much more often.
The finish is subtle and natural, but awesome. The pictures included are after one stroke of mascara, and I love the doe eyed effect that really is quite doll like, or cute at least.
The formula is absolutely not clumpy or thick at all, something that, for me, Lancome mascaras are notorious for. Instead, it is extending, separating and all round very fluent. My most reached for day time mascara by far.
Here I am with no mascara (which I always think looks a bit strange)!
See the cone shaped wand?
And here is the finished result:
What do you think?
Has anyone else tried this mascara?
