Valentino Valentina 50ml £58*
Here is a perfume that I'd call grown up. People keep telling me that since Dan and I got engaged, my hands look so very grown up, and I'd have to agree. Honestly, I still feel like a teenager most days, but this addictive fragrance makes a nice change to the many 'young' fruity scents amongst my dressing table. It has notes of bergamot, orange and truffle, with a classic fresh feel and a touch of peach? Overall, although it seems a little overpowering at first, its a nice smelling oriental feel perfume that lasts, though transforms into something more subtle and sweet after a few hours. I would like a little more longevity here, I feel for how expensive it is, and how strong it is on the first spritz, it really should last until the evening, for me. Instead, it dissipates by the afternoon, and this isn't a bottle I'm prepared to chuck in my handbag!
Most of all though, I absolutely adore the feminine packaging, and do feel that it epitomises its contents nicely. Elegently French, whilst being a world away from the classic Chanel '5 which I actually don't like. A sweet, spicy and almost sexy mature scent, that I can imagine is a love or hate fragrance. I somehow love it, despite it being nothing like I'd usually go for!
Have you tried this fragrance?

Sounds lovely! I'm not a massive fan of the flowers but I LOVE the circular shape of this bottle.

ReplyDeleteBint El Madina is a rich woody musky note. This is extraordinary compared to other Perfume Oils I have ever run over, really a gem, delighted in by a great many individuals all through the center east and particularly in India.adlist24.com
