Taking care of early wrinkles // La Roche Posay - Redermic R Anti-Aging Treatment Intensive

La Roche Posay Redermic R Anti-Aging Dermatological Treatment Intensive £18.76*

I'll cut to the chase. La Roche Posay Redermic R promises to smooth out fine lines, diminish dark spots and even out the skin tone. Now, I can't say I've noticed too much difference in my stubborn red scarring which is my biggest concern (maybe that'll change, I'll keep you updated), but I have definitely noticed a difference regarding fine lines, and that is seriously something to shout about, I'm sure you'd agree.

Retinol is known to cause irritation, and La Roche Posay think they have cracked it. This cream is 0.3% pure retinol, a vitamin A derivative popular for treating wrinkles and is LHA concentrated at 0.3% to exfoliate the surface of the skin and increase cellular turnover. Whilst it burns slightly if I apply it over any breakouts (stupid really), my skin is pretty good with it, hasn't broken out or reacted. I obviously don't apply it when I've got an active breakout now, which really isn't that often anymore anyway. And just to be sure, I apply this only 2-3 times per week and always use Biodermas facial SPF the next day!
As you can see, I've not used much of this at all. I've been using it for about three weeks, and that included every day used alone for the first week, and then I went down to 2-3 times per week, so I could use my usual, super hydrating skincare on the other nights to keep my skin nourished.

Its working well so far. I definitely never had crows feet or otherwise, but I did have forehead lines and very subtle smile lines that I was conscious of. Whilst the forehead lines are proving to be a little more stubborn, the fine lines around my mouth have practically disappeared and I'm no longer concerned about that area. Seriously, this is a revolution! I'm going to carry on using it until I see a bigger change around my forehead, and then I'll go down to using this perhaps once a week as a preventative measure. It has a gel cream texture, glides on nicely and doesn't leave a tacky or shiny finish, phew.

Best of all, I've managed to find it on offer for £18.76.
Basically, if you're around my age and starting to notice fine lines, get it quick!
Has anyone else tried this?
