Eye cream is one of the products I've always struggled with. Ridden with eye bags and fine lines, I've always felt the need for one, though so many seem to do more harm than good - Irritation, runny eyes and my least favourite, milia. Since then I've decided to stay away from the promises of 'anti-wrinkle,' because they're just too rich for the delicate skin around my eye. Instead, I went for this hydrating eye cream, which promises absolutely nothing besides hydration, and thats exactly what it provides. Now, it doesn't fight fine lines or battle dark circles, but by hydrating the area, surely it helps?
The texture is nice and thick, so only a tiny amount is needed, meaning you'll get your moneys worth. It glides on easily, feels hydrating and is instantly cooling. I tend to use this only in the morning for that reason alongside the fact that it makes a nice primer underneath thick concealers. I've seen some poor reviews of this, and I've seen some amazing ones too (so i'd probably get a sample first, especially seeing as its expensive)! For me, this is the first eye cream that I can use with absolutely no worries. It doesn't make me itch, it doesn't irritate me, and it doesn't give me milia. Yes, its not magic, but I have recently started using another eye gel every other night to help combat dark circles - I'll be letting you know how I'm getting on with that soon!
Have you tried this eye cream?

we've heard so many good things about Bobbi Brown's eye cream but were never prepared to fork out so much for it. But from your post, it definitely looks promising...you might have convinced us!

Of the bazillion things in my make up collection I have no Bobbi Brown!
ReplyDeleteThis does sound fab, I often struggle with eye creams making my eczema flare up around my eyes - and I never normally suffer on my face! Great review, looking forward to hearing about your eye gel, too :)

I have to be careful what eye creams I use, atm I can only use a Superdrug own one x
ReplyDeleteI have heard such good things about this eye cream but never gotten around to actually trying it!
ReplyDeleteI was concerned that it wasn't anti-aging, but I suppose you are right that it's probably helping anyway if it's uber hydrating!

For dark circles try some almond oil. Helps lighten them.
