Having avoided smocks for fear of looking like a lumpy sack, I caved and bought this one in an attempt to cover up my pregnancy-resembling 'time of the month' stomach. It was only £15 and a completely random purchase. I convinced myself I was going to hate it, but then I tried it on. I'm not usually a fan of ASOS for their poor quality and unreflecting high prices, but this material is quite thick, and it actually seems pretty durable. Impressed!
Theres something about stripes that make me feel like myself. They 'go' with absolutely anything, are super easy to wear, and are just my favourite, really. Together with the forgotten watch, hat and boots that were all gathering dust, I've rekindled some of my oldest loves along with my old favourite, orange lippy. I do rather like this outfit.
Have you worn a smock?
What do you think?
