A gorgeous day spent at one of my all time favourite places to be, Woburn Abbey. Forget the huge buildings and majestic arches (well maybe not actually, because they're amazing too), I'm in love with this wooden shelter amongst the grounds, and this old traditional romantic folly has always mesmerised me. Dan and I went here just to sit and have something slightly resembling a picnic after popping into the Abbey to finalise wedding fayre plans! Just a few years ago I had no idea that such places like this existed so close to home, yet helping Dan with weddings (and the safari park next door) has opened a whole new world of discovery! I know that sounds corny as hell, but there really are some beautiful places I'd never even considered visiting before.
I think my floaty skirt and floral top fit in with the whimsical surroundings, though the men watching and laughing as Dan took photos of me laying in the grass wound me up no end. Do I look angry in that first picture? I was staring right back at them, awkward! Posing is so incredibly weird, I can't deal with people watching me haha, it took me a year to relax with Dan!
What do you think of my outfit?
Wheres your favourite local place to be?
S xx
