Vitage Natural Daily Perfector // A Holy Grail

Vitage Natural Daily Perfector 'Natural Light' £25*

This is one of the best products I've been introduced to in a while, and I so badly wish this was introduced to me years ago. I've been using this product for over a month now, and I can honestly say I'll repurchase it again and again, despite the boring packaging. Vitage is a brand I'd never heard even of until recently, though I had tried different forms of mineral make up before, and it doesn't seem to be for me.

Vitage Natural Daily Perfector looks like make up, but it isn't exactly that. The best thing to call it would be a tinted primer. It evens out skin tone to a certain extent, so if your skin just needs slightly evening out and you suffer from visible pores, then you can probably stop there. I've been using this as a base to foundation in place of Benefits Porefessional, and I'm hooked.

It has a mousse texture, which I expected to hate. I've never come across a mousse product that agrees with my skin, ever. However, this is beyond all expectations. It smooths on skin, moisturising dry areas and mattifying oily areas. Its lightweight, and leaves skin feeling unbelievably silky, which you can guess, creates the perfect make up base. Since I've started using this, I haven't had a single break out. Though I had started using Pevonia's oil at the same time, I do feel as though this has had a lasting benefit on my skin. It must be better than silicone, surely?!

Unlike some other naughty mineral make up I've come across, this really is 100% natural too. Ingredients include green tea, golden seaweed, vitamin E, jojoba oil. So I'd say yes, its better than silicone. As well as adding a light tint to your skin, it also has anti-inflammatory and hydration qualities, which if you have skin like mine, is not something to be ignored.

Have you ever heard of Vitage?
Will you be trying this?

  1. I would like to try it but I like full coverage better. Great post!! :)

  2. I've never tried it or heard of it but it sounds very nice indeed :) xx

  3. I imagine this is similar to the Murad Primer. I've never heard of this brand before but I'll definitely be keeping my eye out.
