Very often recently, I seem to get in a rut with make up. What with the early mornings and boring weekends, theres not much space for playing around. I tend to go for a fairly natural look unless I'm heading out so I've definitely been in a rut recently.
Youngblood recently sent me a few goodies though, which inspired me to change things up a little - And sometimes something new provides all the encouragement you need to start shopping around your own makeup collection a little more. Any excuse to shop, I say!
I've never been a fan of light nude lipsticks. I love them on other people but they completely wash me out to the point of a potential fancy dress look - Not good. This shade though, is one of those 'my lips but better' shades, and the gloss finishes it off perfectly (and lasts absolutely ages). Another recent discovery is the Vitage daily protector - By far the best primer I've ever used, but I'll do a separate review on that soon!
I really can't seem to get away from the Naked palette though, I do love it, and most of the time I don't wear any eyeshadow, but I desperately want to venture back into colours (I'm sure I've forgotten how)! I'll also never get away from the Lancome foundation, but thats totally fine with me; I think it will be my 'go-to' foundation for life.
What do you think?
What are you reaching for at the moment?
