'Dorrie' 3/4 wig £28.99*
Dress - Glamorous*
I'm becoming increasingly fed up of my hair recently - I've been willing it to grow for what feels like forever, sadly with little success. It so far appears that I'll only ever be able to dream of having luscious long locks to be proud of. Extensions scare me so that has never been an option unfortunately, so when Annabelle's Wigs sent me this 3/4 wig to pursue my dreams with for the time being, I was intrigued.
The wig is just that, rather than a full wig, its a 3/4 sized wig, leaving the front of your own hair out to integrate with the wig. This does mean that the area at which the wig joins with your own scalp is a little obvious (especially with roots like mine) unless you cover them up somehow. I clipped the front of my own hair back and into the wig which worked well - but a little bit still showed, so I covered this up with a daisy crown.
I absolutely love the idea of a 3/4 wig. Whilst a full wig might appear synthetic, this wig is comfortable and easy to work with. I haven't had my hair dyed since April, and I somehow managed to blend in my super-sized roots to the wig, making it appear even more natural than it already looked! I can't tell you how amazing it felt to see myself with the long voluminous hair I've always wanted - Though this did make for a very disappointing moment when removing the wig and seeing my own rubbish hair beneath it(!)
Its easy to attach with two flexi-combs, and feels so much more secure than I can imagine - Actually, its harder to remove!

Have you tried anything like this before?
What do you think of it?
I've never heard of 3/4 wigs before but this actually looks quite good! I love the daisy chain :) xx

ReplyDeleteMy hair is similar to yours. I seem to condition it, have regular trims, but it still doesn't grow :(
I always have clip in extensions in when I go for a night out. But I wish there was a permanent solution...!

ReplyDeleteSirens and Bells
Oh wow, that's pretty swish! ;D Looks really pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteSarah! You look like a disney princess! Or Alice in Wonderland, in fact with the blonde hair and blue dress. My hair is long already but if i could change it, I would make it go blonde, the same colour as yours. How I wish to have blonde hair! I always want what I can't have! xxx
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely! So glam. I'm the same as you in that my hair doesn't grow very fast and I'm pretty fed up with it. I had clip in extensions for about 3 years (they don't damage your hair at all, so no need to be scared:)) and then had permanent bonded ones for a year, which were amazing but I got a bit fed up of having bits glued into my hair all the time! I'm now on the quest for my only luscious head of healthy locks. That being said, I am liking the look of this...!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this fashionable gorgeous hair looks good and perfect and shown in the picture.Really nice!
