Kefalonia was truly beautiful. I'd been before when I was 15, but Dan chose it as our holiday destination this year after watching Captain Corelli's Mandolin. We wanted somewhere relatively quiet but not necessarily boring, so we chose to stay in a relatively small area known as Skala. We also wanted something that wasn't going to break the bank, and booked into Zephyros hotel, which I'd recommend! We've both been incredibly busy and stressed so all we really wanted was to bask lazily in the sun with our books and ice cream, and that's exactly what we did - Its been so incredibly nice to get away.

This looks so beautiful! Very jealous. I'm off to biarritz for a long weekend next month but I wish it was longer - had my 'summer' holiday back in January in snowy colorado and now I'm craving the sun :( x

Ive been going on holiday to Kefalonia for years, we stay in Sami or Lassi. Its such a beautiful island. Lovely photo's :) x
