One of my first experiences with make up was playing with my Nan's bronzing balls when I was a child - Somehow they were more appealing and fun than any other make up she owned, and for some reason that has carried through to adulthood for me. I do own some bronzing/blusher balls already, but the 17 Bronzing Rocks drew my attention and the slightly different 'rock' shape might have had something to do with it.
I do think theres a point to the shape other than being a little different - Because of the edges, colour pick up seems greater, and easy to achieve. The colour really is a gorgeous pink bronze shade which is also perfect, if not better, for the body and eyelids (I sweep mine across my collarbones).
If you're not a fan of shimmer, the colour and shine might be a little much for daytime use, but I adore this! The colour vaguely reminds me of the Laura Mercier illuminator, and thats not a bad thing to be compared to considering these rocks cost a measly £4.99!
They also remind me of the mememe goddess rocks or even more so, the St Tropez rocks (right down to the packaging) which I have previously craved, but for much less than half the price!
Anyway, heres a little peek:
What do you think? Will you be trying these?
